Maat & Isfet

Isn’t it sad how life always catches up on you…how very little you realize you know by each minute you grow. Dream of love, of hope, of passion, of motherhood, of peace, of intellect, of art, of tranquillity, of family, of life….how vain is humanity in all its glory and yet how foolish in all its intelligence. Greed blinds human existence and overshadows its purpose; the meaning of life is life, birth, creation, continuation, self-preservation. Money is a man made slavery invented out of boredom and close minded societies to control the masses; alternatively chaos would occur. But how much of that is true? Are regulations of society there to control the masses or to suppress their free will, their freedom of thought, their freedom of speech and ultimately of living. Society is a man made creation as well. Hence, it is fragile and unstable, ready at every corner to alter its notions and adopt new ideas in order to protect the social-economical interests at hand.

Since our dawn, we have been struggling and fighting against time to resolve the unresolved mystery; why are we here? Why were we placed on this earth and what is our purpose? Who or what decided to place us here and how exactly was that succeeded? What is all about then?

Human intelligence will never reach the stage of dignifying the question with a logical answer. It is beyond our existence, beyond our understanding, beyond our tiny sphere of intelligence. Why must we put ourselves through the agony of struggling to find a logical answer for something which if we would accept it as a gift given by an unknown sender it would flatter and make us happy in the end.

The simplest form of happiness is coming back to our original status, back to our natural roots. Embracing our simple tasks in life; our survival, our emotions; the strongest of them all being a tiny word we decided to call it ‘love’.

They say that when Pandora opened her box with all the sorrows and the evils that spread in the world, at the bottom of that box there was the worst feeling of all; hope! Hope gives humans the strength to carry on, to endure even if they do not wish to any more; something which later on was analyzed and developed by Darwin as a theory; the ‘Survival of the Fittest’. It very much resembles the feeling of self-preservation, hope for life, for birth, for creation.

Our existence, our purpose is in front of our eyes. The only way to witness the miracle is to open our hearts, open our minds and free our spirit to the truth. It exists in all of us; if only we are courageous enough to accept it willingly….and that is where free will introduces itself…hence being given the gift of choice.

It is our call whether and how we want to live…a slave to a man made creation or a free man of senses and choices……today we decide our life…we decide our future… we decide a life of light or a life of in the shadows…

Free will, hope, gluttony, eros, laziness, envy, happiness, tenderness, affection, sympathy, malice, greed, generosity, kindness, selfishness, selflessness, passion, honesty, understanding, bitterness, hatred and….
...love...
